This sensor is more for those with some skill in electronics and a reasonable understanding of how a picaxe is programmed and functions. It comes fully programmed and tested, but can be supplied with an spare blank or loaded 20x2 chip if requested, for a small fee.
The Anemometer I have programmed the chip for is a Vortex from www.inspeed.com USA. it has a pulse = 1 pulse per second is 2.5mph
I can supply this sensor with or without the Vortex Anemometer. International buyers are better off to buy the anemometer direct from inspeed to save doubling up the shipping costs.
As always, comunication with me prior to buying anything is best.
The Dual axis controller below is designed for using heavier relays, for example 20-30Amp Automotive relays, or Solid state relays up to 24v input volts supply to the sensors.
This can be supplied as an unboxed kit consisting of the sensor as seen below, plus a bank of four 20A relays configured to suit. The kit will come with all thats needed ready for your own enclosure.
Included is: 1 x axe relay driver assembled & tested.
4 x auto relays configured as Neg- switching H drive
4 LED sensors with 3.5 mtrs data cable for connecting to the pcb
1 tilt sensor conected to 2 mtrs data cable for conecting to the sensor
Switch set consisting of 1 x main auto/manual track switch
1 x E/W manual track switch
1 X N/S manual track switch
1 x North/South Kill switch
1 x push button to activate wind parking manually
All switches will be configured & conected and tested prior to shipping
All conecting info will be here,
A schematic supplied with sensors
A copy of the picaxe Program for the new 20x2 micro chip available on request to buyers of the sensor. Emailed as a zip.
