New V3 AxeTracka bidirectional sensors

As the name suggests, the new V3 sensor is designed to suit my campatracka V3 portable tracker assembly. it became clear I needed to do something to make life easier for V3 users trying to get enough elevation in summer to catch more amps. so now its easy. With the new V3BD sensor you simply turn the tracker around 180 degrees. so long as the tracker is pointing North OR South, the sensor will work.
The new sensor now parks at the midday position overnight, not full east as before. But this is good in many regards. with the panels in the midday position overnight it has less chance of being tossed around by wind, because the panels are not up&down like a sail boat spinnaker at night. It will start tracking east as soon as the sun rises, typically within 15 minutes of sunrise.
The V3BD sensor also has manual tracking and a manual park button. it also comes with remote sensors on about 2mtrs of cable. it will be supplied with about 1500mm battery cable and 500mm of motor cables.
NOTE; this sensor will only work on tilting trackers, not on a rotating tracker. In other words the panels need to tilt east/west. This is because I have used mercury tilt sensors inside the LED sensor box which does all the balancing act and tells the 14m microchip when to stop at the midday position.
As mentioned, the new V3 sensor has a larger 14pin chip doing all the thinking, this and the extra sensors, cables, switches, and time, all adds up people.
Price of the new V3BD solar sensor is $135.00 posted within Australia
International price is $155.00
Can be supplied as 12v or 24v 5A rated.
Contact Dave to order, as I do not have all these sensors ready made, it can have a 2-3 day delay before I assemble and ship them. This depends on my health and other commitments at the time.
